Hej hej

Jeg er rimelig frustreret. Da jeg gik ind i min sommerferie var jeg i mit livs form, og klar til at debutere på marathondistancen til HCA Marathon d. 30/9. Dette forhåbentlig i en tid under 3 timer. Løb 70-80 km om ugen og var faktisk efter min egen mening ved at ramme 3 timer på de 42,195 km.

Der sker så det at jeg får en streptokok-infektion og efterfølgende en halsbyld og må kortvarigt indlægges. Jeg er nu halvvejs igennnem en uge med antibiotika, og har så småt startet træning op igen.

Jeg træner efter puls, og kan både se og mærke at jeg ikke er i nærheden af den styrke jeg havde inden sygdom. Mine ben er som gele og min mave føles heller ikke helt god - sikkert pga. antibiotikaen.

Er der nogle der har været ude for noget lignende? Jeg vil egentlig helst høre at det med benene og formnedgangen højst sandsynligt kun er kortvarig, men jeg må også erkende at jeg føler mig sat så langt tilbage, at jeg er bange for at jeg ikke når min målsætning om to måneder.

NU ved jeg ikke hvor hurtigt du løb på det tidspunkt hvor du blev syg, så det er lidt svært at vurdere om du stadig har muligheden.

Hvis der kun er tale om at du er syg i 1-2 uger kommer du hurtigt tilbage til den form du var I før du blev syg - kan ligefrem været at 1-2 ugers pause har hjulpet din krop til at restituerer, hvis du har haft presset den lige lidt for meget.

Det vigtigste i din træning frem mod marathon, er at du ikke forsøger at indhente "tabt" træning, så ledes at du presser kroppen ekstra, for så render du bare ind i en skade, og så går der hurtigt 3-6 mdr. inden du er tilbage i form igen.

Når du nå er sygdomsfri, og lige har fået trænet en uge eller to, så sæt dig ned og se på om det er realistisk at nå dit mål til HCA, derefter overvej, om du skal løbe HCA med en mål der eks hedder 3:15, eller om du skal sigte efter en marathon senere på året.

At løbe under 3 timer på første marathon, er en meget god præstation, som mange træner efter i mange år.

Ved det er en dybt fristeret situation du står i, men der er ikke så meget andet at gøre end at se tiden an, og er færdig med behandlingen.

Der er nu gået tre uger siden jeg for alvor kom igang igen med løbetræningen. Jeg startede stille og roligt ud og har faktisk i sidste uge løbet 98 km i alt uden de store problemer.

For tr uger siden havde jeg på fornemmelsen at jeg var tre måneder bagud formmæssigt, ift. hvor jeg lå før sygdomsperioden. Nu mener jeg kun at jeg er en måneds tid bagud. Jeg prøver at være tålmodig og ikke belaste kroppen for meget, og så regner jeg med at nå mit sub 3 mål d. 30/9.

JA lige når man starter efter en skadesperiode, så føles det som om man er mdr. fra at kunne noget som helst igen, men det kommer hurtigt.

Pas nu på ikke at få trænet alt for meget. Det er bare så dumt at måtte være ude med en skade i 3 mdr. fordi man ikke lige tog det roligt i en uge.

Ikke mindst husk at få trappet ned op til marathon. Det er så ærgeligt at stå på stregen og mærke at man lige skulle have haft en 3-4 dage mere til at trappe ned i!!!
